Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This policy describes, in plain language, how Loop handles data. It is a good-faith baseline and should be reviewed by legal counsel for your jurisdiction before launch.
Who we are
Loop is a customer-feedback platform operated by Marrona ("we", "us"). Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Polar — see Payments below.
What we collect
Account information (name, email) for workspace owners and members; feedback content (posts, comments, votes) submitted to boards; anonymous, de-duplicated voter identifiers used to prevent duplicate votes; and basic technical data (IP address, used transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention). We do not sell personal data.
Payments
Card and billing details are collected and processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record, on their own infrastructure. We never receive or store your full card number. We retain only a subscription/plan status and a customer reference to operate billing.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure requests. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Subprocessors
We rely on a short list of providers to run the service: Polar (payments / Merchant of Record), Resend (transactional email), Upstash (rate limiting), Sentry (error monitoring, when enabled), and a managed Postgres host. Each processes data only to provide its function.
How we use it
To operate the service: authenticate you, store and display feedback, power roadmaps and changelogs, prevent abuse, process subscriptions, and send product and account emails (e.g. verification, password reset, and notifications you opt into).
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account or a workspace, its boards, posts, votes, and comments are removed; backups age out on our provider's standard cycle.
Your rights
You can access, export, and delete your data at any time from Account → Export / Delete in the dashboard. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA) you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.
